With a rich mix of influences from Indian, Chinese, Spanish and American cultures, Manila is the vibrant capital of the Philippines and its cultural and economic center. Thanks to the trade with Latin America during the three centuries of Spanish colonization, Manila became an important city, known as the "Pearl of the Orient."
Don’t miss a visit to the Spanish remains in the Intramuros district. Important landmarks in the area are the Malacañan Palace, the City Hall, and the Manila Cathedral.
Rizal Park is a national icon, while the Baywalk promenade is great for enjoying the well-known city sunsets. Ermita and Malate districts are famous for the nightlife, trendy shopping and restaurants, as well as for some luxury Manila hotels. Between the promenade and the districts, its easy to see why Filipinos call Manila “The City of Our Affections,” where the people's love affairs with fashion, music, entertainment and sheer fun are on bright and beautiful display.
Divisoria is a traditional district for local shopping, bargains and typical food. Binondo is the oldest Chinatown in the world.
For hotels in Manila near the airport, Ninoy Aquino International Airport is not far from Makati City.
There’s no place like home. The location of this condo unit is right in the heart of Manila. Very near at the NAIA AIRPORT about 15-20 mins drive. Right next to the Makati Police Stn and 5 mins drive to Glorietta Shopping Mall.

There was nothing in Manila at Makati I enjoyed I thought the people were arrogant a bunch of liars and the older people were very rude. Here in the United States we try to respect other nationalities you won't get that in Manila you're treated like a stranger that they would like to see leave as soon as possible I would never go back there

Manila is a steamy, claustrophobic city that is both dirty and chaotic. In fact it is one of the most densely populated cities in the world. Avoid going in the hotter months, as anything outside is impossible. There is nothing of any great repute to see, and unless you live there or have friends there it is difficult to know the best places to eat or spend time at. My suggestion would be to skip Manila and fly onto one of the many islands

Having lived in many Asian countries and travelled the world since the 70's really Manila you can miss, yes they have beautiful islands but Manila as a city is difficult to move around as poor public transport still in 2024 and infrastructure all around the country is still very poor, plus too much poverty, ......really sad , its been left behind..........in time
Our home away from home! We have been hotel hopping every time my family visits Philippines and now, we have finally found the perfect place for us to stay when in Manila. This is our 3rd stay in Makati Diamond Residences!
Great location, exceptional service. Spacious rooms and clean, nothing to fault. Pizza from room service is one of the best, says my daughter. Lap pool is great to do your daily swim. Lounge is also great. Staff is very accommodating, have provided packed breakfast and allowed late checkout without issue.
the hotel was located in a prime location, everything is nearby. restaurants and shopping malls. The staffs were very accommodating . i have some issues with my mode of payment, yet they considered my only option that day (wire transfer), rather than letting me wait for my issues to be resolved. They even considered my luggage to be left for 2 days for a considerable amount, since ill be going up north prior my flight on the 26th. Made my manila/makati stay convenient. 😍👍🏻👍🏻
The best part of I’M Hotel is its staff. Everyone from the doormen to the front desk, the dining folks, room service, housekeeping, and the team at the rooftop bar were welcoming, warm, and professional.
We loved the bathtub with its floor to ceiling windows and the sweeping views of Manila. The cityscape at night and sunrise were gorgeous.
We ordered room service twice and the food was really tasty. The portions were unexpectedly enormous.
We arrived very early in the morning from a night bus and after some negotiation were able to check in early for an additional fee. We stayed here before and after our flights to/from Manila and it is convenient for getting to the airport by Grab. We had a large, basic room with good AC, fan, Wi-Fi and hot water shower. It is quiet in the hotel at night. Nice terrace on the top floor. Good location for food/drink options. 24 hour reception.
This year we chose U Hotel to be our base while in Manila as we travel around Philippines. We've done this a number of times, and have used different Makati hotels as our base; U Hotel has been our favorite so far! The rooms are nice, the breakfast is excellent, the staff is wonderful, the price is very reasonable, and the location is awesome. Our group of two couples will stay at the hotel in the future for sure!
very professional and well-staffed. one of the few hotels in manila that felt like a normal hotel. The check-in process was easy, the staff was very accommodating, and they ACCEPT CREDIT CARD PAYMENT :).
Staff was really nice, I felt an earthquake while up on the 12th floor, albeit a small tremor, I asked if I could move lower in the building and they did everything they could to try and accommodate my request.
Good AC. Fridge inside the room. Bars and entertainment spots in walikg distance.
Beds are spacious and comfy.
Ample rooms with a high ceiling (which i like against the new fancy hotel rooms which are tiny space and low ceiling).
I like their historic relationship to the nearby AyalaTriangle, which was the runway of former Manila Airport, in the 1930-ies.
I love how the pictures advertised are the same when we got there. I also like the customer service. There is no inconvenience except for the parking confusion and internet connection. It is clean. The place is big for the six of us and it is near The Manila Tent Hotel. Overall transaction and our stay is smooth, guards are friendly. The views are superb.
Very convenient location to explore Manila downtown.
LRT1 can be reached within 12 minutes walking.
By taxi it takes about 30 minutes to the airport.
The cleanliness was outstanding.
The hotel does not provide any drinks or meals, but there is a 7-Eleven store (24/7) located next door.
The staff was very helpful, friendly, and willingness to help you was unsurpassed most hotels i have stayed at. Thank you for the pleasant stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who was coming to manila. for the money you pay and the service you receive it is awesome. thank you.
This is a fantastic airport hotel, perfect if you are arriving into Manila one day and leaving the next
Great location opposite Terminal 3
Convenience store and a Starbucks just round the corner and a huge mall 7 mins walk away.
Comfortable room
Friendly staff

I have stayed many times at Kabayan Hotel before and always found them friendly and efficient. The location is handy to Manila Airport, especially Terminal 3. The latest renovations are excellent. I always feel welcome at this hotel and am now organising my next stay
The cafe downstairs by reception had very good food and service.
Very close to the airport, which is all I wanted. To avoid the dodgy scammer taxi drivers.
I will probably visit this hotel again before my next fight at Manila Airport.
Excellent value for money stay, one of the best Red Planet hotels in Manila in my experience; friendly staff, a good Internet connection, a quiet modern air-con, the usual comfortable bed and good shower, electric kettle etc
New and clean hotel with a friendly stuff.
Location is great for end-of-trip-shopping with two big malls near by, and comfortable to get to the airport.
quiet new neighborhood, which is hard to find in Manila
Stayed for 2 nights in transit through Manila going south and north. A good value hotel that the local taxis could take us to.
Staff helpful and friendly though we had little time there
Exceptional Staff! They are still willing to assist us even though we already checked out! We checked in on other hotels before but we felt more prioritized heritage manila hotel!
I am frequent guest to this hotel and love the location of the hotel and great staff as well. This is my go-to hotel when I am in Manila because it is close to the airport.
